It's time for Irish education to change for the better

We are a non-traditional, outdoor-centric school that focuses on creating life long learners by creating an educational environment where natural curiosity develops into intentional and driven inquiry. We teach practical skills, emphasize well being, and provide emotional education all while following the Irish Curriculum.

Core nature

Nature

We educate in nature and through nature. Our students aren’t sitting in stuffy classrooms under numbing halogen lights memorising materials out of outdated text books- they’ve got their wellies on and are fully engaged with an ever changing environment asking questions and finding the answers.

Our school lives at the beautiful grounds of Belmont Demesne; our outdoor classroom covers a little over an acre of natural Irish woodland. The school building acts as a hub for students’ outdoor adventures.

Have Questions? We love those.

Head over to our Faqs page to see what other people have said.

We must teach our children to smell the earth, to taste the rain, to touch the wind, to see things grow, to hear the sun rise and night fall – to care.
